I have finally decided to quit smoking. As of 4 days ago. And for more public accountability and moral support, I've been talking about it over at my personal blog. Also occasionally Twitter-ing and Plurk-ing about it. This was how I was nudged by the creator of NuHabits.com.
I know I know, there's already an overwhelming proliferation of social networking sites. And as I mentioned earlier, they can even cause depression XD. But this, I think, is one SNS that can be provide a pick-me-up.
I'm assuming it's relatively new. I mean, I'm part of a Smoking Group, and there are only 5 of us, including the site owner. I would think this is one of the groups that would be more populated. What I like best about this site is its Abstinence Tracking feature. So you can proudly brandish just how many days you've finally rid yourself of bad habits. Also, I'm keen to try out the Habits tab, where you can dissect your bad habits and have people comment on it. It really feels like a virtual "Hello, My Name Is _______" support group. But hey, if it helps, it's worth a try.
Let's start a NuHabit ^_^
